Producer friendly colour analysis of Pinot noir berries
Through collaboration with Plant & Food New Zealand, this work supports the wine industry to better understand the relationship between berry characteristics and finished wine style. Traditional spectroscopic methods used in this space are examined, alongside novel CloudSpec methods, including refinements to the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) grape berry analysis protocols. This is further evidence that CloudSpec's hazy sample spectroscopy is unlocking high value, practical solutions for the global wine-growing and wine-making community.
